Insider Update: April 17, 2020

These resource people participated in a recent one-hour video “Insider Update” online session:

  • George White, a murder victim family member wrongly convicted of his wife’s homicide;
  • David Bruck, Washington & Lee Law Professor and Virginia Capital Case Clearinghouse Director;
  • Virginia Podboy, VADP legislative representative; and
  • Dale Brumfield, VADP Field Director.

They gave an update on current death row cases and scheduled capital prosecutions, reviewed the results of the recent session of the Virginia General Assembly, discussed how COVID-19 has impacted our work and future plans, and answered questions from participants.
